I'm Tom. I've loved aviation for as long as I can remember. I'm the person checking FlightRadar at 2am to see if a friend's overnight flight from Singapore has started its descent. SkyText came from a simple frustration. My family would fly, and I'd spend hours refreshing flight trackers waiting for a "landed" status. They'd forget to text when they arrived. I'd worry. It felt like something a text message could solve.

So I built it. Enter a flight number, add a phone number, and you get a text when the plane touches down. No app to download. No account to create. Just a message that says they've arrived.

I've spent my career in aviation technology, from airlines to flight data companies. That means the details across this site are real. When we say Heathrow T5 takes 25-30 minutes from touchdown to arrivals, that's from experience, not a guess.
