Munich Airport has a unique feature: a beer garden between the terminals. Airbräu is the only airport brewery in the world. It's in the open-air area between T1 and T2, and it serves fresh Bavarian beer brewed on site.
The S-Bahn (suburban rail) connects the airport to Munich's central station (Hauptbahnhof) in about 40 minutes. Both the S1 and S8 lines serve the airport, running different routes through the city. Trains depart every 10-20 minutes. Taxis to central Munich cost around 70-80 euros and take 30-45 minutes depending on traffic.
