They're flying across the world to study. Know when they've arrived.

Track a FlightEvery September, hundreds of thousands of students fly to the UK from China, India, Nigeria, the US, Pakistan, and dozens of other countries. For their parents, this flight is one of the most significant moments of their lives. Their child is leaving home, crossing time zones, and arriving in a country where they may not know anyone.
The flights are long. China to London is 10-13 hours. India to London is 9-10 hours. Nigeria to London is 6-7 hours. During those hours, parents have no information. The plane is somewhere over Central Asia or the Sahara, and all they can do is wait.
When the student lands, the problems don't stop. Immigration at UK airports during September peak can take 1-2 hours for non-UK nationals. The student may not have a UK SIM card yet, so they can't text or call when they arrive. They're exhausted, overwhelmed by a new country, and trying to figure out how to get to their accommodation.
For parents in China, the timezone difference adds another layer. If the student lands at 6pm UK time, it's 1-2am in China. The parent is lying awake, refreshing FlightRadar24, trying to work out if the dot on the map has landed yet.
SkyText works with any phone number worldwide. A parent in Delhi, Lagos, or Shanghai gets the same landing text as a parent in London. The student doesn't need to have a UK SIM card, doesn't need to find WiFi, doesn't need to do anything. The flight is tracked, and the landing notification goes to the parent's phone automatically.
For the return flight during term breaks, set up a separate tracking. The student's flight home matters just as much to the family waiting at the other end.

How it works
Type the flight number. We verify it against live data.
Enter the mobile number where you want to receive updates.
We track the flight and send you an SMS when it touches down.
FAQ
Yes. SkyText sends SMS to any phone number worldwide. A parent in any country can receive landing alerts.
Yes. SkyText tracks the flight, not the phone. Updates go to YOUR phone number, wherever you are.
For non-UK students during September peak, 1-2 hours is common. The 'landed' text means they're on the ground, not through immigration yet.
